Tech Report and Research Contributions

1. Collaborated with teammates to finalize Ideal, Gap, Goal, Problem statement, and Purpose statement. The initial Ideal, Gap, Goal, Problem statement and Purpose statement had several problems e.g. not being clear and precise while some content are redundant such as putting background information. I helped the team to gain better and clear understanding what should the ideal smart water bottle, what are the improvements that should be made, and what is the group's ultimate goal for the project.
   
   
2. Wrote the background on the purpose of drinking water and what is the recommended daily water intake for men and women.
   
   
3. Did research on statistics in google scholar and google about how many people are drinking enough water. I found out that not many are hydrating themselves enough and needs to be reminded when to drink water which leads to our desirability of our product (smart water bottle).
   
   
4. Did research on hyponatremia in google scholar: the effects of drinking too much water and how it could potentially do more harm than good to the body.
   
   
5. Collaborated with teammates rearranging pointers in the Introduction. The flow of the pointers in the Introduction does not have a flow which the readers may find confusing. Hence, we fixed it by combining pointers that are under the same category and adding pointers to give readers more background information to give a better understanding.
