Effective communication is often neglected as Math and Physics are the predominant subjects taught in the study of engineering. There are certain engineering concepts and terminologies that many people may not have learned before or have limited depth of understanding. Engineers should be able to act as a bridge to people of different fields of study or background such as project managers, clients and investors to facilitate their understanding. Therefore, acquiring good level of communication will help engineers throughout their careers ahead of them.
